Mother’s Day is only a week away! I still have not purchased anything for my mom or my mother-in-law! Oh boy. I truly believe that moms value time more than anything you could possibly buy her. We just wants to spend time with our kids right? So make sure you spend TIME with your mom, and on top of that, get her an awesome gift πŸ™‚

So what are some gift ideas for our Moms this Mother’s Day?

  • Make her a picture book of the kids or grand kids. I’m going to do this for my Mom and my Mother-in-law. It’s just kind of perfect. Grandma’s especially love this! Montage has FREE Shipping going on right now as well!

  • Take a “Now” photo to go with a “Then” photo of you and your siblings! Have you seen those hilarious pictures of siblings recreating their old family photos? This is just the cutest idea. Go do it.
  • Get her a customized necklace with her children’s names or birthdays on it. I’ve always wanted one of these (wink, wink hubby)
  • Flowers. Can’t go wrong. But to mix it up and do something different, have the kids go and pick flowers out of their own backyard and creatively tie them together with decorative string! It’s a fun craft for the little ones to do that mom will LOVE!
  • Make a basket full of her favorite things. Fill it with a starbucks gift card, her favorite candy, her go-to lotion, whatever SHE loves. It’s personal and takes time, which means she will surely appreciate it!Mother's Day Gift In A JarPhoto courtesy of Quirky Inspired

I hope this gave you some inspiration for Mother’s Day! Whatever you choose to do, make sure you make your Mama feel special! She is worth all of the extra effort..

    1. Me too! That’s my favorite. My husband did something similar last year but didn’t use a jar, he used a cute basket and filled it with my favorite candy, gift cards, and jewelry. It was adorable. I might have to post a pic!
